


If not it could be the cpu is burnt out.the way to know this is if you unplug it, the beeps will disapeir or change completely. These basic troubleshooting steps should help you find the problem. Check the new ram stick and see if it works without it. You might even have a bad/faulty part in the motherboard. Go back and check you inserted the ram correctly, if that dosn't work try checking your cables (ide, power, etc.) and your cards (video, sound, etc.) as they might have slipped out of place when inserting the ram. Most likely something is not inserted right into the motherboard. The beeps are telling you something is not right.Įvery beep is different and I'm not 100% on what means what.
